2026 Welcome
2026 Welcome!
Dear Past and Prospective Marlin Parents,
Welcome to online registration for the 2026 Summer Season. If you don't already have an online account setup on our website, you'll be asked to set one up as you complete the registration process. This online account will allow you to track your swimmer's meet results and sign-up for volunteer times. We are excited to get the season underway. If you are new to Mt. View and have questions, please contact us via the CONTACT US form on the website or email our Head Coach Jess Lane at [email protected].
We're looking forward to another great season. Practices will begin the Tuesday following Memorial Day, beginning with evening sessions for everyone but mini team. Mornings will begin after school lets out on Tuesday June 9th. Final practice schedule is still in the works including morning and evening sessions pending the pool. Practice times will be the same this year due to our growing team! Our plan (pending approval) is first two weeks of mornings we will have Black & Grey Group from 7:30-9:00 AM and Blue Group/8 Unders from 9:00-9:50 AM, due to swim lessons. After our first two weeks Black & Grey group (Grades 7 to 12) will practice from 7:30-9:00 AM, Blue Group (mostly ages 9 to 12) will practice from 9:00-10:00 AM, 8 and unders will practice from 10:00-10:30 AM (Due to possible camp days, there may be 1 day a week that 8 and unders are moved to the 9:00 AM time). Mini Team will be selected days that will be in the morning and determined after the camp schedule is set; but will be three days a week from 10:30 to 11:00. [PLEASE NOTE THIS IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE]
We are excited to have new families join us this year! This is a wonderful summer program for kids where they can get exercise, learn more about swimming and develop into competitive swimmers!
With that said – keep in mind, Mt. View is a swim team, not a swim lesson program. Our pool does offer swim lessons the first two weeks of June after school lets out. We are also happy to recommend a few swim lesson program in the area as well.
If your child cannot swim the 25 meter lap alone with no assistance, they are not ready for swim team. If they can they are ready for swim team. If not….don’t fret, they may be ready for our mini team (ages 8 and under)! Mini team swimmers must be able to swim across the pool unassisted, our goal is to get them to swim the full length of the pool by the end of the season. Mini team does require two weeks of swim lessons before it starts, which is a separate registration and fee set by the pool. For either they must be willing to put their face in the water. Please note that we do not offer an evening option for mini-team.
For the safety of our children, the swimmers and coaches, we cannot allow kids who can't swim independently to be on swim team. If you are not sure about whether your swimmer is really ready to participate on the swim team, please reach out to Coach Jess, BEFORE you register.
All prices include Registration and concession fees. *If not participating in 2026 fundraising (sub sales, sticky buns, etc) please add "fundraising buy-out" to your cart from the merchandise part of registration. If you opt not to pay now and don't meet your fundraising amount we will ask for the balance in July.
Team suits - order early (not required but highly recommended): https://tandtswim.tuosystems.com/stores/mtview2026 (Turn around time is about 2.5 weeks from ordering)
We also will maintain an online store with our old suits at our Swimoutlet store: www.swimoutlet.com/mtvmarlins. If you aren't sure what size you need, trying something on at Dick's Sporting Goods is helpful!
On behalf of the Mt. View Swim Team, welcome and we look forward to another great swim season.
Go Marlins!
