Few announcements this Sunday. 

Fundraiser #2 -R&K

Orders and payments are due tomorrow Monday July 19th. If you forget or need extra time to get me your order please reach out ASAP. I will be at the pool 12 to 8 pm tomorrow if you need to drop off later in the day. 

Mini Team

Mini team continues through this Friday July 23rd.

Practice this Week

This week we will be focusing on getting ready for Divisionals. To help us accomplish this we ask that those not participating in the Divisional meet not attend practices on Thursday or Friday. (This does not include mini team in this attendance statement). 

Fundraisers & Buyouts

Unfortunately due to timing availability from the vendor we were not able to get a popcorn fundraiser in. The R&K fundraiser will be our last. Those that did not do the fundraiser buyout and have not met their fundraising amount will receive an email with owed amounts after our R&K order has processed. 

Meet Results from Novice & Saturday 

Divisional entries took up the majority of time after Saturday's meet. Both meets results will be sent out tomorrow evening. 

*Please note that Piranhas had a delay with ribbons and they will not be in folders until Tuesday as they are being picked up tomorrow.

I believe that they have been updated in Swimtopia for all events (relay alternates excluded). I will be sending out the confirmation report once its received from the  host team for those attending to verify there are no mistakes. This must be verified by 4 PM on Tuesday. 

I will also send our the list of those not able to do All Stars and/or Mid Caps to verify accuracy.  

Drag Down Day

Drag day this year will be set for Thursday July 22nd for AM session and Tuesday July 20th for PM session. Drag day is where swimmers were things to "weigh them down" to practice as we taper for the season. It will make them feel super slow, and that's the point. 

In past years we've had swimmers wear tshirts and shorts to long socks to even tutu's and old Halloween costumes. 

We take a couple of fun pictures do some fun swimming things and fun relays (even get out some pool floats) and work on soft skills (starts and turns). Its many swimmers favorite practice all year! 

We do this before the last day of practice so we still have time to work on things swimmers need for championships. 

Swimmers do not have to participate in this if they do not wish to. Its just a fun tradition many look forward to!

***please keep in mind that swimmers should pick things that do not inhibit movement or are a safety issue. Things like hats, masks, and hooded shirts should not be considered beyond pictures. 

Banquet- Date TBD

The exact date for the banquet is unknown at this time as its pending guards availability (so Coach Jess isnt working) but will be a Friday, Saturday or Sunday in August. Please keep your eyes peeled!
