Hello Families,

This is the second year the league has the rule about qualifying for Divisionals from 2 dual meets to: 2 dual meets OR 1 dual meet and 1 invitational. As such we are pushing out all of our invitationals early to help you qualify to be able to participate in championships. While we of course would love for you to come to all our dual meets we know that things come up (Our big meet this year will be July June 28th at home!)

Invitationals- Paid choice entry meets

*Please note that each meet has a fee to participate. Once entries are closed we will let you know what you owe in an email. You can participate or not, the choice is yours. The kids do really enjoy the Hummelstown relay meet and get to do regular and special/mixed gender relays.

We have some upcoming Invitationals with deadlines this week. Invites (or invitationals) are paid entry meets. You pay for your swims. Dual meets are free and invitationals are optional. However for our summer only swimmers we very very much encourage you to go to the Devon Crest Novice Meet on July 8th as we as a team do quite well (we have won a trophy over several years...the ones in our locker rooms!) and have had a bunch of high point winners too!

Invitationals with deadlines this week for entries

• Hummelstown Relay Meet on Monday Evening 6/23 (deadline to enter is 6/18)...please indicate your interest in Swimtopia and enter in a comment if you will be willing to do 3, 4, or 5 relays. It is a PM meet and details have been updated in Swimtopia. If we have enough interest we will attend as we need to form relays of 4. Sometimes based on genders coming to the meet we can't make all relays. 
• Middletown 10 & Under on Wednesday Evening 6/25 (Deadline to enter is 6/21) Only for 10 & under swimmers, it is a "newly returned" meet. If interested you must register by Saturday 6/21. Please select your events. If you don't want to do a relay please be sure to indicate that, they are at the beginning.  We will try to do one if we can!

• Dauphin Pentathlon on Thursday Evening 6/26 (deadline to enter is 6/21). Please read the meet packet that is under the sign-up on the calendar as you have to swim all the events at this meet and it is a flat entry fee. It is a memorial meet for a coach in the area that passed away. *If you know you are not legal in all 4 strokes you are encouraged to NOT do this meet. If you are new to the team talk to a coach before entering this meet*
• Devon Crest Novice Meet on Tuesday July 8th [Entries due 6/29]: If you are new to swimming [first season] or don't swim during the winter months or you only practiced 2x or less per week and didn't do any meets in the winter, this meet is for you! We encourage ALL eligible swimmers to attend. Our team has historically done VERY VERY well here with a team award as well as a few individual high point winners. Entries are due June 29th, please select your own events. We'd love to see everyone eligible to attend actually attend. If we know you aren't eligible for sure we already marked you as "not attending".
• Willowood Invitational on Wednesday July 9th [Entries due June 25th]. Entries are due by June 28th. For those of you NOT eligible for Devon Crest Novice Meet due to swimming in the winter in some capacity, this is the meet we recommend for you. We do not recommend this meet for first season swimmers or those that swim summer only. If you are first season or summer only please talk to a coach before entering this meet. *Please note that this meet can go late. If you are not willing to be there after 10 PM do not enter the butterfly events.

We have decided to not attend the Gary Shank meet in Carlisle again this year as a team. If you wish to attend that invite please let me know. You can find more information at swimmpsl.org
