Hi Marlins Families,

We’re looking forward to welcoming our first B Division opponent to Mt. View tomorrow morning for our Home Dual Meet! Please read the information below carefully — there are several important updates and reminders to help things run smoothly.

🔧 Set-Up Tonight – 8:00 PM

We may not begin set-up any earlier than 8:00 PM tonight. If you're able to come lend a hand, we’d love the help getting everything in place!

🙋 Volunteers Still Needed

We’re short on a few crucial roles. If you can help, please sign up ASAP:

• 1 more Second Half Line-Up
• 2 Second Half Officials
• 1 Post-Meet Results Helper (you can take this job home!)
• 1 Starter/Referee

*Swimtopia is still open for sign-ups. 

⏰ Early Start Time – 7:30 AM (THIS IS A CHANGE!)

Due to a scheduled event at the pool at 12:00 PM and the larger size of the meet, we will begin at 7:30 AM sharp.

• Mt. View warm-ups at 6:30 AM
• Visiting team warm-ups at 7:00 AM

We know this is early, but this change will help us wrap up the meet in time for the party coming in to the pool. 

📋 Event Entries – Please Read!

Due to the size of our pool and time constraints, we are only guaranteeing each swimmer two individual events for tomorrow’s meet.
Some swimmers may also be placed in one relay and/or a third individual event if space allows. We appreciate your understanding as we work to keep the meet efficient and fair for all.

🚗 Parking

We will have Mt. View parents directing parking.

• Please bring only one car per family
• All Mt. View families must park in the grass area at the end of the lot — we’ll fill from the back
• Do not park behind the building — this is an emergency access lane and will be coned off
• Please don’t create your own spaces in the paved lot. 

🏁 Meet Flow & Events

We’ll be starting the meet with freestyle relays (Events 67–76), then circling back to Event 11 (100 IMs).
This will help us move through the meet more efficiently and get more families out earlier to help with the event coming in after us. 

🎓 Senior Recognition

We will be honoring our seniors at the halfway point of the meet. Please make the volunteer/timer exchange quick during this moment to keep us on schedule.

🪑 Team Area & Seating

• Mt. View families sit on the building side of the pool
• The parking lot side is reserved for the visiting team
• There will be no chairs or umbrellas provided, so bring your own
• Please keep children out of the baby pool and diving well
• Avoid standing or lingering on the concrete pool deck, especially at the turn end — this space is for coaches and officials
• Photography is permitted only from the sides, not from the turn end

⛺ If setting up a tent, please leave 2 feet of space from the edge of the pool deck so families can still view from the sides.
