Jenna's Rock Solid Hope Event
Dear Marlins Families,
We are excited to come together as a swim team community for a special evening called Jenna's Rock Solid Hope in honor of Jenna Lawson. Jenna was a fierce and dedicated Marlins swim mom who recently passed away after repeatedly overcoming cancer for decades. Join us at Lenker Park on Friday, June 5th anytime between 4:30–6:30pm. [We will be running a modified practice schedule that evening so that all can participate. We are working with all of our coaches in order to figure out what that will look like and will update next week so that coaches can participate as well]
During her leukemia diagnosis, Jenna started a project called Rock Solid Hope. She painted rocks with positive and hopeful messages and placed them in the rock beds outside the Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute to encourage patients and families. It became a beautiful way to spread kindness, hope, and strength to others during difficult times.
At our Rock Solid Hope Night, swimmers and Marlins families are invited to stop in, enjoy ice cream, paint a rock, and share a message of hope as we celebrate Jenna’s incredible spirit and continue her legacy of kindness and positivity.
Please take a moment to:
- Fill out the attendance form for the event

Thank you for helping us make this a meaningful evening for our Marlins family and for continuing to spread kindness throughout our community.
