Marlins Show Their Fight! Records Fall, Top 10s Rise, and Dauphin Awaits!

Happy Saturday, Marlin Families!

What a day for the Marlins!

While today's meet against Hummelstown ended in a heartbreaking 2-point loss, we could not be more proud of how our swimmers responded. Despite battling illnesses, injuries, and vacation absences this week, our team showed tremendous resilience, determination, and heart. We saw countless strong swims, swimmers stepping up into new events, and a team effort that came down to the very last race.

A 2-point meet reminds us just how important every swim, every relay, and every point truly is. Our Marlins never stopped fighting!

🏊 Records Continue to Fall!

One of the highlights of the day was an incredible number of Mt. View records being broken. Since we don't race in yards very often, these opportunities are rare and exciting. Years ago, our yard record books were unfortunately lost when the team briefly folded, and we've spent years piecing together historical records from whatever information we could find. Because of that, every new yard record is especially meaningful!

Meet Results & Times

Results have been loaded into SwimTopia, so be sure to log in and check out your swimmer's times and improvements from today's meet.

We also won a large number of individual events and relays throughout the meet, showing just how much talent and depth this team possesses.

Spirit Wear Has Arrived!

If you were away today, don't worry—your spirit wear is in!

⚠️ We do appear to be missing two team T-shirts that were paid for during registration. We think that someone may have got them that did not add them with registraiton or they took the wrong size from what they ordered. Please remember that team T-shirts are separate from spirit wear orders and are an optional registration add-on (they are NOT automatically included). If you accidentally picked up a Youth Medium or Youth Large shirt that was not part of your order, please let us know so we can get it to the correct swimmer. [Please check your registration to see if you placed an order or not]. We did not order extras so it's important that we find these.

Looking Ahead: Dauphin at Home!

Next Saturday we welcome Dauphin to Mt. View for what should be another exciting and competitive meet.

✅ RSVPs are OPEN now, so please log into SwimTopia and mark your swimmer's attendance as soon as possible. The coaches are going to be working hard on this weeks meet so the earlier that you can submit your RSVP the better!

Invitational Entries Open

Many of our invitational meets are now open for entries as well.

Please remember:
• Invitationals are optional.
• They operate on a pay-to-participate basis.
• They provide excellent opportunities for additional racing, championship qualifying times, and team fun.

You sign-up through us online and we submit your events to the hosts. You pay us the fee and we write one check to that team for our whole team's fee.

Many invites have deadlines this week, so please take a look!

Ribbons & Swimmer Boxes

We're working on organizing swimmer boxes and expect ribbons to begin appearing on Monday. We are also putting together a team newsletter and hope to have that out soon!

Practice Schedule Changes This Week

Please note we are following our remaining season practice schedule for the mornings beginning on Monday (https://swimmtv.swimtopia.com/practices) now that swim lessons are over. This is no change from what was posted but as a reminder:
