Monday Relay Meet Information – Entries, Warm-Ups, Parking & Volunteer Ask from Host

Hello Marlin Families,

Entries for Monday's Relay Invitational have been uploaded to SwimTopia! You are receiving this email because you said you'd attend and your swimmer is entered.

Due to a few illness and injury changes that came after initial entries we had to make some changes and caused a delay. But we worked hard to keep as many relays together as possible. Attached is the entry report, which also includes relay fees. The cost is $5.00 per relay your swimmer is entered in.

Since this is a fun relay meet, we've entered many swimmers in relays that feature strokes or events they may not normally swim. We hope everyone enjoys the opportunity to try something different!

A few important notes:

  • Events 25 & 26 use SIX swimmers, which is a problem in the swimtopia software. It will show swimmer 5 & 6 as an alternate.  If your 13-14 or 15 & Over swimmer is listed as an alternate in those events, they ARE swimming as part of the relay.
  • The meet file also incorrectly lists events 25 &26 as a medley relay—it is actually a free relay, so don't be alarmed if SwimTopia appears different.

Warm-Ups

Our team has one of the earliest warm-up times:

Mt. View Warm-Up:
3:20 – 3:40 PM (Lanes 1–6)

The last five minutes may be used for one-way sprint lanes if all lanes are clear.

We understand this is an early arrival. If your swimmer cannot make warm-ups, that's okay! Please send me an email or text to let me know. If skipping warm-ups, we ask that swimmers arrive no later than 4:30 PM, as the meet begins promptly at 5:00 PM.

Parking & Shuttle Information

Please read carefully—this is very important for Monday:

  • There will be NO PARKING for swimmers or parents at the Hummelstown Pool. Only coaches and officials may park at the pool.
  • Swimmers and guests should be dropped off at the pool only.
  • After drop-off, the driver must park at Lower Dauphin High School.
  • A shuttle will transport drivers back and forth to the pool as needed throughout the meet.

Spectator Information

  • Spectator entry is $5.00 per person.
  • Programs will be electronic only (QR code will be available at the pool).
  • Any volunteer timers are greatly appreciated and will receive free entry to the meet.

Meet Program

I'll send out the meet program this weekend once we receive it from Hummelstown for anyone who would like to print their own copy.

At the pool, they will also have:

  • A QR code for digital access to the meet program
  • Three printed heat sheets available for each team

We're looking forward to a great night of relays and lots of Marlin energy!

Go Marlins! 💙🖤
