Good Afternoon Marlins Families,

We are looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow for the MPSL B Division Championships at Elizabethtown College! This was moved due to air quality concerns.

(This is the Bowers Center address, but it will get you on the correct road to access parking)

Parking

Parking is available in the following lots on the map accessible on Cedar Street:

• Lots 14, 15, and 16
• Brown Lot #7 (on College Avenue but is our College's "First-year" lot)

Please do NOT park in Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 along College Avenue. Those lots are reserved due to a music performance camp and final performances taking place throughout the day.

The pool is located in Alumni Pool (circled in blue on the attached map). Please use Cedar Street to access the parking areas.

Seating & Facility Information

Seating will be available in the Jaywalk and along the hallway outside the pool. While the space is a little smaller than we'd ideally like, with approximately 100 swimmers per session we should all be able to make it work. If you choose to sit outside you can, but it is not recommended. 

Please pack light and, for everyone's safety, all swimmers must wear shoes whenever they are outside the pool area in the hallways and Jaywalk. 

Please note:

• The area around Thompson Gymnasium is closed due to construction. 
• The Student Center area is also closed because of final rehearsals for the music performance camp in the theater located behind the pool.
• We ask that everyone remain in the designated areas and avoid the closed hallways.

Boys Session

• Arrive: 7:15 AM (The first warm-up group is at 7:00 AM if you want to get there early)
• Warm-ups: 7:30–8:00 AM
• Meet Begins: 8:15 AM

Please have swimmers find seats with the team in the Jaywalk upon arrival.

Girls Session

• Arrive: 10:45 AM (First warm-up group starts at 10:30)
• Warm-ups: 11:00–11:30 AM

We could still use a few additional timer volunteers. Several families indicated they could work either session, and we're still waiting on final details from Hummelstown regarding whether timing assignments will be split between the first and second halves of each session. If you're able to help, please let me know.

Restrooms

• Due to construction the main bathrooms in Thompson are closed. 
• Boys may use the locker room/restrooms located on deck, this gives you a few more to access. 
• The primary public restrooms for everyone are located by the pool near the ramp.
• The single-stall restroom on deck will be reserved for coaches and volunteers throughout the meet.
• If you want to go into the student union you can use the ones in the BSC near the bookstore. 

One Final Note...

The good news is that the air conditioning is running, and the pool area has been very comfortable despite the recent heat!

We appreciate everyone's flexibility as we adapt to the weather and the temporary campus construction. Thank you in advance for helping us keep the day running smoothly by following the parking and facility guidelines.
